Therapeutic Approach

Jane is a professionally trained therapist, and life coach, and uses a wide variety of healing modalities in her private practice. Some of these modalities include:

Inner Child Healing, Cognitive/Mindset Reprogramming, Somatic/Body Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Parts Work, Shamanic Journeying, Trauma Release & Energetic Clearing, Intuitive Channeling, Tarot & Divination, Art Therapy + More!

Traditional Therapy + Holistic Healing combined gives us more opportunities for healing, expansion, deeper self awareness, and growth.

With new understanding, we see ourselves differently, and we get to write a new and empowered story that will support our evolution forward. We learn to compassionately hold space for the old ways of being to slowly melt away, as a new, healed, and mature version of self begins to unfold.

My name is Sarah, and I want to share my story of transformation with you. Childhood trauma weighed heavily on me, and always seemed to bring down my energy. But after a couple of sessions with Jane, I learned how to turn my fear into strength.

Jane showed me that healing is possible. With her support, I faced my past, embraced my vulnerability as a source of power, and throughout my healing journey, I rediscovered dreams buried by pain and found resilience I never knew I had.

Today, I stand empowered, ready to rebuild my life with purpose and self-love. To anyone else who is reading this, I want you to know that you are not alone. Believe in your resilience, trust your heart, and never doubt the strength within you.

- Sarah, age 29 from United States

Studies show that living with unresolved trauma can have profound and lasting effects on an individual's physical, emotional, and psychological well-being. These effects can manifest in various ways, depending on the nature of the trauma, its severity, and the support systems available.

Some long-term effects of unresolved trauma may include:

  • Mental Health Issues: Childhood trauma increases the risk of developing mental health disorders such as anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and dissociative disorders.

  • Emotional Dysregulation: Trauma can lead to difficulties in regulating emotions, resulting in intense mood swings, emotional numbness, or hypersensitivity.

  • Low Self-Esteem: Trauma can contribute to feelings of worthlessness, self-blame, and a negative self-image, affecting self-esteem and self-confidence.

  • Attachment Issues: Trauma can disrupt healthy attachment patterns, leading to difficulties forming and maintaining healthy relationships due to trust and intimacy issues.

  • Self-Destructive Behaviors: Individuals who experienced childhood trauma may engage in self-destructive behaviors such as substance abuse, self-harm, or risky sexual behavior as coping mechanisms.

  • Physical Health Consequences: Trauma has been linked to physical health issues, including chronic pain, autoimmune disorders, and cardiovascular problems.

  • Dissociation: Trauma survivors might experience dissociation, a coping mechanism where one feels disconnected from their own body or surroundings as a way to escape distressing emotions.

  • Flashbacks and Intrusive Memories: Individuals with trauma may experience vivid flashbacks or intrusive memories related to the traumatic event, often accompanied by feelings of fear and distress.

  • Hyperarousal and Hypervigilance: Trauma can lead to a state of constant alertness and hypervigilance, where individuals are always on edge, anticipating potential threats.

  • Avoidance: People who have experienced trauma might avoid reminders of the traumatic event, which can interfere with their daily life and prevent proper processing of the trauma.

  • Cognitive Distortions: Trauma can lead to distorted thinking patterns, negative self-talk, and irrational beliefs about the world and oneself.

  • Impact on Self-Identity: Trauma can challenge one's sense of self and personal identity, causing confusion about values, beliefs, and purpose in life.

  • Difficulty Coping with Stress: Trauma survivors may struggle with managing stress and adapting to new challenges, often feeling overwhelmed by even minor stressors.

  • Social Isolation: The effects of trauma can lead to social withdrawal, making it difficult to connect with others and engage in social activities.

  • Reenactment: Some individuals unconsciously repeat patterns or situations resembling the traumatic experience, potentially putting themselves in harmful situations.
